On our doorstep is a very special community-funded and managed park, which is going from strength to strength, having recently added a BMX track, new climbing boulder, brand new playground equipment and benches and recreation areas, all adding up to a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy. Plenty going on there too, with events and activities throughout the year, including the Heeley Festival  – which every summer features stalls, activities and games, live music, delicious food and a great chance for the people of the area to get together to enjoy what they have, and the fantastic Big Boulder Music Festival, which closes the summer in style.
